I Love Michelle as a person and her work is wonderful! I've been a customer of hers since September of 2015 when she was at Permanent. It was a small script piece on my inner bicep. After my initial experience with Michelle I felt very comfortable with her. She's very attentive, very personable, and insures you're happy with the art before, during, and after it's complete. Her personality more than anything won me over to follow her on her move to Captive Element and switch to her for my second piece of work. The second piece I got from her was a Lion on my left shoulder and the start to my 3/4 sleeve. Again her work is amazing and her customer service is outstanding!! I can't wait to work with her again! Her personality won me over but her passion to excel kept me as a customer! She's an amazing tattooer! :)"

"This is the only place I will go for any and all of my piercing needs!! I have had several piercings done in this establishment over the years and come in often for new piercings and jewelry alike. Skot is very, very helpful and knowledgeable about the whole process and makes it very clear you can come back at any time if you fear you are having problems with a piercing. The front staff is helpful as well, always willing to help you find the perfect piece of jewelry, whether it be your first time changing it after the initial piercing or coming in because darn it, you lost your septum bead...again haha :) The ONLY place to go when getting pierced/tattoo'd. "

"Skot has a lot of walk-in time and I've never actually made an appointment for any of my work with him. The Facebook page is also regularly updated saying what days and times that Skot has open hours. It's easy and a really great place. Extremely clean, very friendly, and the only problems people have is if they don't listen when their artist tells them how to take care of their new mod and they screw it up themselves. All those scary YouTube videos of piercings-gone-wrong are from people who don't properly take care of themselves, either by being misinformed or thinking they could get away with it."

"My boyfriend and I both got tattoos done at Captive by Catfish. My boyfriends was a botched house tattoo and Catfish offered a more than fair price and it looks a million times better than before. My tattoo was a new one and he took the time to find many pictures to reference from and free handed most of the tattoo. I absolutely love it. Besides that he made us feel so comfortable and was super friendly. I would definitely suggest going to him!"

"Piercing virgin that I am, coupled with scar tissue from poor ear piercings as A child has made me gun shy.

So..... I have to say that Scott was AMAZING! I called a week ahead, he called me back to answer questions and spent nearly 40 minutes explaining risks an likelihood of issues related to my personal history, as well as what I could expect and do to minimize risks. He then let me know how I could coordinate to limit wait time due to driving far!

When I called the day of, the secretary knew my name when I called, and she stated Scott told her to expect me, and I had the same treatment on arrival making the experience comfortable and relaxed, like visiting a friend. Scott then clearly explained the procedure l, and what to expect while meticulously repeatedly washing hands between each step and donning fresh gloves as well. He then repeated the aftercare , and stressed the importance and safety implications, which I appreciated!!!

Needless to say my 1st facial piercing was such a great experience I would recommend Scott and this agency to anyone!"

"You need one word in piercing: SKOT. He has worked at a few shops in the past but has been at captive elements in Blaine for going on two years. He is very knowledgeable not only about piercing, but body modification in general. I have had three separate piercings done by him and wouldn't recommend anyone else as much as i do him. Also, i have never met a piercer that stressed aftercare as much as Skot has. "I have had my nipples pierced numerous times by various staff at Captive Elements in Blaine. I have never received anything other than excellent service. The piercer, whether male or female were always exceeding expectations. They give excellent instructions on how to care for piercings. I have followed my after care to the t and have never had anything out of the norm happen. The reason being, I LISTENED to my piercer, not my friends who think they know everything.

I have also received numerous tattoos from the artists there. On occasion when I thought something was out of the ordinary, the front desk staff was more than happy to assist me with my concerns and questions as well as the artists who did the work.

I would wholeheartedly recommend even my grandmother to get a service here.

It goes to show that if an establishment such as this can last as long as it has out in Blaine, I know there must be something special about it!"

"Professional, Creative & Friendly Staff. I had wanted a tattoo for a long time but I am afraid of needles. I visited Captive Elements when a close relative decided to get her first tattoo. I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the creative talent of the artists; so much so that I got up the nerve to go and get my own tattoo. The artist drew up just what I wanted and it turned out gorgeous! Everyone was friendly and supportive without glossing over the fact that there would be pain involved. I've gone to Captive for all of my work for the past year- had a lot of bad expirences in the past at other crappy shops, but it's all been good at Captive. So far I have had three piercings from Elby and Two from Jenna, and my next one's free! (They have pun ch cards!)
