*These rules are specific to the artist and her inks for a reason.  Ultimately this is to preserve the beauty of your new ink and prevent infection or disease amongst the recently tattooed.

Starting Day 1:

• Remove bandage after one hour.
• Wash with clean hands and unscented Dial liquid soap.  Gently wash with fingertips only!
• DO NOT use lotion or any other ointments on the day of your tattoo.

Starting Day 2 & until healed:

• Begin moisturizing your new ink (after first 24hours) with an unscented and dye-free, plain, white, hand lotion.
  

                    (Curel or Eucerin are recommended brands)

• Use lotion sparingly: 2-3 drops, 2-3 times a day.
• Wash your tattoo daily with the Dial soap.
• DO NOT: pick, rub, scratch, or itch your tattoo!!!! You may slap it instead!
• Absolutely NO: tanning, swimming, hot tubs, or baths.  (Only short showers)

*Touch ups are free at the tattooer's discretion within 6 months of getting tattooed.  Fingers and toes are NOT guaranteed.
